Submission Guidelines for Guest Writers

We welcome well-researched, original, and engaging content about coffee culture, brewing techniques, gear reviews, and industry trends.

To ensure a smooth submission process, please follow these guidelines:

Content Requirements

• Originality: Submissions must be 100% unique and unpublished elsewhere.

• Word Count: 1200–1,500 words (longer pieces considered for in-depth guides).

• Tone: Conversational yet informative think “helpful friend with expertise.”

• Topics: Brewing methods, gear tutorials, coffee science, sustainability, or barista tips.

Formatting

• Use subheadings (H2/H3), bullet points, and short paragraphs for readability.

• Include 5–7 high-quality images (with proper attribution) or infographics.

• Hyperlink to credible sources (studies, manufacturer specs, etc.).

How to Submit

1. Pitch First: Email info@rustcoffee.co.uk with a 2–3 sentence summary and key takeaways.

2. Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days.

3. Final Draft: Submit as a Google Doc or Word file with “[Submission] Title” in the subject line.

What We Don’t Accept

• Promotional content (unless sponsored/clearly disclosed).

• AI-generated or poorly researched articles.

• Off-topic or non-coffee-related submissions.
